Securing Housing
Securing housing while experiencing homelessness can be an uphill battle filled with obstacles. Without a stable address, reliable transportation, or steady income, many housing applications are denied before they’re even fully considered. Requirements like security deposits, rental history, and credit checks often exclude people who have faced eviction, job loss, or other crises beyond their control.
Finding stable housing is not just about having a roof—it’s about restoring dignity, safety, and opportunity. Once housed, people are better able to seek employment, manage health needs, and rebuild their lives. Long-term support, flexible housing options, and compassionate policies are key to helping people move from homelessness to home.

Family Reunification
Family reunification is a vital part of the healing process for many of our guests at St. Francis House. We work to reconnect individuals with their children and loved ones whenever possible, offering support through case management, counseling referrals, and legal resources. Rebuilding these relationships helps lay the foundation for long-term stability and a renewed sense of purpose.
