opportunities at the St. Francis House
Serve Evening Meal: (Groups of 3-6 people) See Meal
Serving Sheet.
Meal Mentoring:
Qualified individuals to work with and mentor new groups serving the evening
meal. Show them the procedures, and make them feel at ease.
Sack Lunch Preparation: Prepare sack lunches (using our food) for our guests to take to work the next day.
Washing and Folding donated clothing: For distribution to residents on Wednesdays.
Clerical Help: Receptionist, answer phones, general office-help.
Special Mailings: Help with quarterly newsletter, appeal letters, fundraising events.
Misc. House Errands: Trips to Land fill, pick up donated items, help individuals move. (may involve some lifting).
Special Event Help: Hand out information at events such as: Life Light Festival, Alternative Gift Market.
Canister Fund: Pick
up and deliver canister funds. Host a small canister at your home, place of
business, or church. Find local businesses in which to place our canisters.
Business Services: Provide or donate your product or service to the St. Francis House. (for example: grocery store providing free food)
Monetary Donations: donations
of all sizes and amounts are needed. Thank you!
Prayer Warrors: people to pray for needs of the St. Francis house.
