Our Programs

We provide emergency shelter for up 46 single individuals and 7 families in our family units on any given night.

We provide three programs for our guests:

1. 7-day program. Individuals can stay for a maximum of seven consecutive days, and they must be absent 30 days before they are again eligible for programs.
   1. Guests need to get a job
   2. Take a breathalyzer daily
   3. Help with small chores around the house
   4. Attend Wednesday’s house meeting
   5. Provide identification card and Social Security card
   6. Check in daily between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
2. Genesis work program - 3 month stay. With this program, guests must have a job, attend two meetings per week, do assigned chores, and save their money.
   1. Apply while on the Seven Day Program
   2. Must have a job
   3. Put money into their savings account weekly or bi-weekly
   4. Attend 2 meetings per week for personal improvement
   5. Do assigned chores around the house
   6. 2 week extensions are given when guests save their money
      
3. Hope Extended Program - 6 to 7 month stay. With this program, guests have completed the Genesis Program, attend 5 meetings per week, do assigned chores, save their money and serve as an example to the rest of the guests.
   1. Have been through the Genesis Program
   2. Attend 5 meetings per week
   3. Put money into their savings account every 2 weeks
   4. Responsible for house projects and house chores
   5. They must be an example to the rest of the guests

All of our guests are required to participate and help with the daily upkeep and maintenance of the house. An evening meal and breakfast are provided, and employed guests can request a sack lunch.
